We Don't Die. We Multiply Wk 2
In week two of We Don't Die, We Multiply, Pastor Damon Davis gets specific about what this series is really about: kingdom advancement, fruitfulness, and mission living. Not only do we have a Savior; we have a mission. Working from John 15:16-17, Matthew 28:19, and Philippians 4:14-19, he shows that multiplication was never our idea. Jesus appointed us to go and produce fruit, and of all the fruit God could ask for, people fruit is the primary fruit.
But you cannot produce people fruit while you are still being carried. Somebody has to grow up. Growing up is not just cleaning your room; it is becoming a contributor to the household. And a grown-up church does not start its mission overseas; it reaches its neighbors before it reaches the nations. It takes a nation of disciples to reach the nations, and it starts with the people right next to you.
Partnership runs both ways. Paul told the Philippians that their provision was connected to their partnership; the fruit and the provision travel together. God rewards, but God does not pay. This message closes with three simple ways to do your part at C3: be present, be aware, and be involved. Because it is not about me winning; it is about us winning. We worship together, and we win together.
